Can Apogee JAM Guitar Input with Garageband work well as a real time guitar amp?
Hi, I’m in a place where it’s difficult to bring a real amp for my electric guitar. (This is just for leisure play) I have a Macbook Pro with Lion and Garageband ’11. I’m thinking about buying the Apogee JAM guitar input, mainly to use a guitar amp in real time, using all of the amp sounds on garageband. Will this work well? If it works, can someone explain shortly how easy it is to do this and the steps I have to take? Thanks!
Yes it works fine – it is what it is designed to do. It really is very easy – literally plug and play!
