Do Scuba dive centres demand your log book?
I’ll be travelling for five months around SE Asia. It’s only in the last month that I go diving – and that date is uncertain. I prefer not to carry my log book around the world if I don’t need it. Will dive centres let me dive without a log book? I can carry my Padi card.
PS – I’m a RD but have only done around 50 dives.

Well thats very nice BUT dive masters are required to check your recent dive experiences prior to you taking your next Scuba Trip so they can properly estimate your skill and make sure they match the requirements for the dive circmstances and conditions at their local sites. They’ll also want to make sure you’ve taken at least one Dive In the last six months otherwise you’ll most likely be taken on a short dive check to evalute your skills.
